Pastor James Gross
James Gross has been serving as Senior Pastor since 2001.
He is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a B.A. in
Sociology. He and his wife, Nancy, then moved to Dallas, Texas
where he attended Dallas Theological
Seminary and graduated with a Th.M.. Four of the six years in
Dallas, he served as a Chaplain at Baylor University Medical
Center. Since Baylor is owned by the Southern
Baptist Convention, the chaplains were missionaries serving
under the SBC Home Mission Board. Following his hospital
ministry, Pastor and his wife moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa where,
for 10 years, he assumed the pastorate of Calvary Bible
Church. The next fifteen years were spent in Washington,
Illinois where he served as Senior Pastor of
Grace Bible Church.
Pastor and Nancy now
reside in Northumberland, PA. Nancy is the Administrator of Sunbury Christian Academy,
which is a ministry of SBC. They have two grown daughters and two grandsons. |

Parke Brown
Parke Brown began serving as Minister to Youth in 1982. Since the mid 1990's he has been our Minister to Families,
Youth and Christian Education. He is a graduate of Indiana
University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Political Science and
a Minor in Economics. In 2004, while in ministry at SBC, Parke
completed his Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty
University.
Parke and Cheryl were married in 1974.
After several years of factory work, Parke spent 6 years as an
interviewer and caseload manager in the Selinsgrove office of
the Pennsylvania State Department of Welfare. Immediately prior
to ministry here, he worked in the Harrisburg office as a
Casework Supervisor, interfacing with local welfare offices and
drafting procedures for implementing welfare laws and resulting
policy.
He and Cheryl
live outside Northumberland and have three grown children. Parke
IV ministers with Wycliffe Bible Translators The Seed Company in
Texas. Andrew and his wife Alanna are appointees about to go to
the mission field of south central Europe. Emily graduated
from Lancaster Bible College and now ministers at Bridge of
Hope, a social service organization. |

Bill McLeod
Bill Mcleod is our volunteer Minister of Visitation. In
addition to this, he also drives limousine for Susquehanna
Valley Limousine.
He was the Administrator of Sunbury
Christian Academy from 1979 to 1998. Bill is a graduate of Kean
University in Union, New Jersey. He taught in the public schools
in Union for 15 years and was actively involved in Sunday School
and Youth Ministry at his church. Bill and his wife, Lois,
have been married for 42 years and now reside in Northumberland,
PA. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. |
